Marina Cangelaris, 28
Marina grew up as a citizen of the world, having lived in over 10 countries across 4 continents. Since 2012, she has been working on building and scaling startups globally. She holds a Bachelors in International Economics, Management and Finance from Bocconi University in Milan, and a Masters in International Management from ESADE in Barcelona. She has also been involved with International Scouting as a former Greek Air Scout and active Young Baden Powell fellow. She is fluent in Greek, English and French and is conversant in Italian and Spanish. In her free time she enjoys activities in nature and particularly the ocean.

From my experience as a Global Shaper.. I have gained the opportunity to work with other passionate young people around the world to raise awareness on and solve important issues in our local communities
As the Save One Seat team leader, my goal is for our hub to be actively involved in supporting one of the sectors that was heavily impacted by the COVID 19 pandemic by offering a platform for our entire community to have the chance to contribute. We are working hard to spread awareness on the challenge the restaurant industry is facing through our initiative, and are constantly looking for ways to motivate everyone to participate.
