I joined Global Shapers Community because.. I wanted to join a community with like minded people that have shared vision and mission to improve things they don't like around them

From my experience as a Global Shaper.. I have gained mostly hope that united we can make miracles, amazing friends around the world and good Karma!

Sotiris Baratsas is a Management Consultant and formerly award-winning entrepreneur in the fields of Technology, Communication and Youth Employment. He is the co-founder of Effect, a social startup helping young people to become more employable and formerly worked as a Digital Transformation Consultant, enabling professionals and companies to compete in an increasingly complex economy. He has worked in various Marketing Roles and has an extensive Digital Marketing experience in startups, SMEs, local and global NGOs and large multinational companies. In the last 4 years, he has trained more than 3500 students, entrepreneurs and professionals in Creativity, Design Thinking, Marketing, Public Speaking and Career Planning. His work has been awarded with the Social Impact Award 2015, the Angelopoulos CGIU Fellowship 2016 and a Silver HR Award 2016. He is also the winner of Coca-Cola’s Innovation Day 2015 and an alumnus of the International Visitor Leadership Program of the USA State Department.

I joined Global Shapers because.. it provides me with the opportunity to collaborate with talented, passionate individuals, both in Greece and around the world, to solve the most pressing challenges of our society

Konstantina Polychronopoulou is a marketing professional with bachelor studies in the field of Political Science and International Relations. She holds an MBA master’s degree from Aueb. Until today, she has already been operating within the pharmaceuticals industry as a marketing trainee at Glaxosmithkline and she is actively volunteering as a sponsorships coordinator at TedXAthens. Since September 2020 serves as the Communication lead of Athens Hub, trying to raise awareness for the activities of Global Shapers on behalf of the Athens Hub, acting as the communications lead.

I am passionate about.. health and fitness  such as yoga and pilates that not only boost your physical health, but it helps improve your mental health and overall well-being.

I joined Global Shapers because.. i wanted to get involved with extraordinary young people of a global network who want to make a positive impact for their society and put all their effort to it.
